This database catalogues every third-party silicone strap verified for the Swatch × AP Royal Pop reference, updated weekly since the 16 May 2026 launch. On 17 May 2026, Swatch released its collaboration with Audemars Piguet: a 40mm Swiss-made pocket-watch-style piece. Within 48 hours, the watch community asked the obvious question: what actually fits it?
This page is the answer. It is an open, neutral compatibility list of every aftermarket strap we have personally verified — or had verified by trusted owners — as fitting the Swatch x AP 40mm. We list competitors. We list options cheaper than ours. We list options more expensive than ours. POPSTRAP is one entry among many.
We made this page because we sell straps for this watch, and because the alternative — a marketing page pretending no competitors exist — would be insulting to a community that knows better. Honest comparison is the only kind worth publishing.
The Watch It Fits
Before buying any strap, confirm the dimensions. The Swatch x AP 40mm pocket-watch carries the following approximate specifications:
- Lug width: approximately 22mm
- Lug-to-lug: approximately 47mm
- Case diameter: 40mm
- Case thickness at lugs: approximately 9.8mm
- Spring bar diameter: 1.5mm standard
- Case material: Bioceramic
- Lug profile: Drilled-through, integrated-style cutout
22mm straps with a tapered or curved end will sit best against the Bioceramic case. Flat-ended 22mm straps fit but leave a 1–2mm gap at the lug.

What's NOT in this database
We deliberately excluded several categories to keep this list honest:
- 20mm and 24mm straps. They do not fit. No amount of forcing makes a 20mm strap span a 22mm lug correctly.
- Apple Watch-style straps with proprietary connectors.
- Swatch's own MoonSwatch velcro and bioceramic straps. They are 20mm at the lug interface.
- Audemars Piguet OEM Royal Oak bracelets. Integrated and case-specific.
- Brands we cannot verify. Several Instagram-only brands have claimed compatibility; we are waiting for verification.
How we maintain this list
This database is updated whenever a new compatible strap launches or an existing one is verified. We accept submissions from brands, retailers, and watch enthusiasts.
To suggest an addition: email press@popstrap.shop with the brand name, product link, lug width, end profile (curved or flat), and a photo of the strap on the Swatch x AP. We will verify and add it.
We do not accept payment for inclusion. We do not remove competitors on request.

POPSTRAP is an independent French strap brand based in Paris. We make one product: a silicone cage strap with a curved end machined specifically for the Swatch x AP 40mm.
