What POPSTRAP fits

POPSTRAP is designed around the 40mm Swiss pocket-watch case released in collaboration with Audemars Piguet, available at Swatch stores from May 2026. The cage geometry is precision-cut to ±0.2mm of this reference.

  • Swatch 40mm Swiss pocket-watch head (May 2026 release) — all colorways

What POPSTRAP does NOT fit

POPSTRAP is not a universal strap. It will not fit:

  • Standard Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watches (any reference) — these have a different case geometry
  • Other Swatch watches (Sistem51, Big Bold, etc.) — different lug spacing
  • Other 40mm watches from other brands — the cage is reference-specific, not size-specific
  • Smart watches (Apple Watch, Galaxy Watch, etc.) — incompatible case shape

How to install POPSTRAP

Installation takes about 30 seconds:

  1. Remove the original strap from your watch (no need for a spring bar tool with the Swatch x AP case — it has a quick-release).
  2. Open the POPSTRAP cage by pulling apart the two halves.
  3. Position the watch head face-up between the cage halves.
  4. Snap the cage closed around the case. You should hear a soft click.
  5. Adjust on your wrist with the standard tang buckle.

How to remove POPSTRAP

  1. Take the watch off your wrist.
  2. Unsnap the cage by pulling apart at the seam.
  3. Lift the watch head out.

Strap durability with the Swatch case

The cage is designed to be opened and closed up to 500 times without loss of tension. If you swap colors weekly, that is about 10 years of normal use.
